A Bracelet that I made 20 years ago

This bracelet was a collaboration with artist Rachel Storms who carved the wax that I then used to cast the silver flower. It was originally on a thinner silver bracelet but through wear broke. I repaired it by attaching it to a heartier silverware constructed bracelet about ten years ago. The repair has lasted many years of wear and will continue to last. I pride myself in making things built to last, wear does happen and I strive to fix anything that breaks!

Micah Tanner

Micah helped me with a big enameling series I produced a couple years ago. We were working in tight quarters in my airstream studio/ living quarters, yes I had an acetylene torch inside. One of us would have to sit down on the couch to let the other pass through! She was an expert at applying the powdered glass in artful ways to the hundred or so pieces of copper we went through. She also accompanied me to many farmers markets where she sold her own handmade journals and art pieces. Her testimonial that I am one of the most interesting people in the world is high praise indeed! I strive to live up to it and am going to be introducing a couple e-books soon to back up the claim. Thank you Micah! You are also a superb character too!
