I can’t even quantify

The quantum leaps 

Of love.

I am always astounded

That my love can get deeper

Wider

More expansive.

I have felt ready to burst at the seams

And it hasn’t happened yet.

My heart will thud so resoundingly

I am sure it has exploded.

yet , here it is pounding

Away unforgivingly

So sweetly

And I haven’t exploded, yet.

Just racing.
